After many years in business we’ve
found that we spent lots of time in our clients’ kitchens
and bathrooms. These are actually two of our favorite spots
in the home because they are where everyone does most of
their living and because they play so heavily in the
resale value of your home… and these days that’s more
important than ever!
We’re certifiable…
Our long time obsession with tile,
paint, and cabinetry has presented us with some great
opportunities in this field. We are proud members of the
NKBA (National Kitchen and Bath
Association) and are working diligently towards the highly
respected Certified Kitchen Designer (CKD) and Certified
Bath Designer (CBD)
accreditations through this
leading industry organization. We never thought we’d care
about the degree of slope in your water pipes or why P-traps
were invented, but it’s strangely fascinating and very
relevant to our design recommendations. In addition, our
clients have been appreciative to have someone like us who
can explain these things in “human”, rather than
“contractor” language. And for those of you who have ever
remodeled, you know how priceless that can be.
We’re three dimensional…
Another one of the nifty tools we’ve
added to our tool belt is three-dimensional electronic model
building. We found that the most common reason clients
struggle with planning room arrangements is because they
can’t visualize what it will look or feel like once
everything is installed. So we offer several ways to provide
3-D computer room models for our clients which create the
luxury of seeing their space from any angle they wish. As a
result, our clients feel more confident in their buying
decisions. Good-bye buyers’ remorse!
We’re amazingly unstoppable…
We also pride
ourselves in having relationships with some of the best
contractors, vendors, and trade organizations in the Pacific
Northwest. We are downright picky about whom we recommend to
our clients and we select our partners based on their
quality of work, technical skill and knowledge,
organization, and above all, customer service skills. Novel
concept, isn’t it? We work so well with our contractors that
we finish each other’s sentences. But rest assured, we have
no financial arrangement with any of them. We pass leads
back and forth because we enjoy problem solving together, we
are highly respective of each others’ professional
capabilities, and we always end up with happy clients when
we team up on projects. Can you say that about your
co-workers?
