Todd’s Family Room
This Oregon City based family had recently moved into a brand-new Craftsman-style home. After coming from a much smaller living space they needed help figuring out what to buy and how to layout furniture in their oddly-shaped family room. They had found several sofas that met their specific taste in furniture but had been struggling with the minimal flexibility in available sizes. So we dusted off our handy 3-D modeling software again and put together several options which met their wants while still allowing the room to function correctly from a traffic-flow perspective. In the end they realized that the sofas they had been eyeing were far too large for the space and would ultimately make the room feel crowded. So they walked away with a plan, a list of workable furniture measurements, and a list of places to shop! With these tools in hand they’d won more than half the battle and it made the rest of the process much less stressful.
