After our first several years in business we found that we spent lots of time in our clients’ kitchens and bathrooms (…because they asked us to). These are actually two of our most favorite spots in the home because they are where we do most of our living and because they play so heavily in the resale value of your home… and these days that’s more important than ever!

Our long time addiction to tile, paint, and cabinetry has presented us with some new opportunities in this field. In early 2009 we joined the NKBA (National Kitchen and Bath Association) and are working diligently towards the highly respected Certified Kitchen Designer (CKD) and Certified Bath Designer (CBD) accreditations through this leading industry organization. We never thought we’d care about the degree of slope in your water pipes or why P-traps were invented, but we’re finding it oddly fascinating and very relevant to our design decisions. In addition, our clients have been appreciative to have someone like us who can explain these things in “human”, rather than “contractor” language!
