Diane’s Bathroom
Like in many bathroom projects these days, our clients could hardly wait to get rid of the oak vanity, “stage makeup” lighting, and outdated tile in their master bath. Most of all, they wanted nothing more to do with the wall-to-wall carpet on the floor! (Whoever started the carpeted bathroom trend should be severely punished!) They described to us their vision of a relaxing, spa-feel, but with a contemporary twist. Based on other color schemes throughout their home we devised a palette of soft sage greens, sandy neutrals, espresso woods, with a touch of very dusty purple. The best part of all was the addition of a heated floor system under their new tile. Now when we visit these clients we tend to all congregate in their master bath with our shoes off!
